Those interested in getting involved in the field of amateur astronomy may become members of the Association of Friends of Astronomy (Goa) and avail of the facilities at the PAO.  The minimum age for membership is 7 years. The subscription rates and admission fees are as under :

a) Student Member :

 (from 7 to 26 years) – Rs.30/- p.a, Rs. 120/- (5 years) ; Rs.10/- for ID card. 

b) Ordinary Member :

(from 26 years onwards) – Rs.75/- p.a, Rs.350/- (5 Years); Rs. 10/- for ID Card. 

c) Life Member – Rs.550/- in lump sum.
Note :  The candidates for membership of AFA (Goa) are required to produce two photos (passport size) and pay Rs.10/- (Rupees ten only) for the Identity Card.
